Two Carat 14 Old Mine Cut DIAMOND Curved Cluster Grid Ring French Antique Platinum Cobblestone

I love panel / grid / lozenge rings (what's your favorite way to refer to these?) and this is such a fun one because it gently curves to hug and slope across the top of the finger. Often times they are flat like a platform but the hugging of the finger makes it more comfortable and easer to stack. As well as providing an awesome chunky sparkle and texture.
This one has a great geometry with the east west rectangular ring face set with 14 chunky old mine cut diamonds totaling around 2 carats. They are set in bead prongs adding to its wonderful texture. And with the curve, it props up the crowns of the old mine cuts making it fun to view from all angles. I love this one.
Found in France with their hallmark for platinum.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale. Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
A snug size 7, just under the line.
I do not remove my stones from their settings for exact measurements and depths vary but estimates to almost 2 carats total weight in diamond. Each of the diamonds is around 3 to 3.5mm with some quite chunkily cut.
The piece weighs a sturdy 7.1 grams. The rectangular ring face not including the shoulder diamonds is 13 by 11mm. It stands 4.2mm off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamonds with some varying warmth, having been hand cut during the period where rough diamonds came from mines that produced warmer stones. Part of this is also in how some of the diamonds reflect the light differently because they are splayed outward and do not "face up" like a flat top ring, perpendicular from the ring face to the eye view, which adds to its chunky textured appearance.
Also typical antique diamonds in that they have some faint natural inclusions, no dark or glaring carbon so mostly seen under magnification. One of the diamonds on one shoulder reads frosty overall. This and the varying slight warmth seem to be the only things detectable to the eye.
Please also note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
